Hi! I'm Tanya. I am the mother of the sweetest little monster on the planet, and he is my biggest achievement in life thus far. I am married to a guy who is literally my dream walking. I have an incredible family.... by blood and the one I am married into. I have a lab/pit named Dexter who I often refer to as my first born. I have been in the fitness industry for 11 years, and since 2014 I have been a Holistic Health Coach. In my past life I was "going" to be a famous actress. That wasn't what was in the cards for me, and I am happier for it. I love scary movies. I love to workout. I "think" I am a great dancer...I also "think" I know how to twerk. I enjoy every aspect of music. I am so happy I married a musician. Life without music would be boring, and I get bored very easily. I am the most organized disorganized person you will ever meet. Lots of organized piles. Thank god for my husband who is EXTREMELY organized. I like to hang out with my son- literally hang out with him like he is my buddy. I have a lot of amazing friends, and each one of them is like family to me. I am honest, perhaps too much for some people. I am pretty sarcastic and I am not sure everyone always gets my humor; However.... I feel like I am one of the funniest people I know :) I do my best and I often fail, but that's okay because I learn. I am a teacher, but will forever be a student. I mess up all the time, but I will always say I am sorry. I am still learning this mom thing, but I so enjoy every moment of it. I try to live the cleanest life possible. However, I do enjoy an occasional cucumber basil martini. I cook 90% of what my family and I eat. I use my Vitamix like twice a day. It irritates my husband because he is the one that usually cleans it. I try to keep everything organic or local in my house. I am not vegan- tried that and my body didn't like it- but some of my recipes are. Many of them are also paleo, but a girl has to have some quinoa once in awhile. I am dairy (except for yogurt because it helps my tender belly) and gluten free because of food allergies. Although to say I haven't had a piece of pizza and paid for it would be a lie. My approach isn't fast weight loss or strict diets. That b.s. doesn't work. My approach is to enjoy life simply, and as clean as often as possible. So follow along; I might send a couple of yummy recipes that make your life easier and healthier. I may teach you that food isn't scary even if it meets a couple of dietary restrictions.
